Coaches:  John Grootveld, Victor Delač, and Bob Hayes

John Grootveld is the former head coach of the Toronto Swim Club (1990-2010) and has coached Olympians and several National team members during his leadership. His knowledge of our sport and ability to improve technical skills is unparalleled.

Victor Delač has been coaching the Masters group since 2012 and was the Head Development Coach of the Toronto Swim Club from 1995-2015.  He was the Varsity swim coach at Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University).  Victor's energy and knowledge of the sport keeps swimmers coming back year after year and fosters an inclusive and encouraging environment.

Bob is the founder of Swim Toronto and has been running this program since 2004. He creates the workouts and tests them out from inside the pool with all of the swimmers. Bob was the Head Age Group coach of the Toronto Swim Club from 2000-2012.

Bob, John, and Victor are all school teachers now and family men.  They are considered by many to be the "Dream Team" of swim coaching.
